SPH TY 2024
—
Founded in 1976, the Boston University School of Public Health is ranked one of the top ten schools in the nation for public health. Each year, the school publishes an annual report of its latest research findings, institute development, and showcases stand-outs in the field.
The design for this project is highly expressive, using an eclectic concept to showcase the work in a vast variety of ways. We created an outstanding piece, a marvel of craft and aesthetic that is unique in the realm of higher education.

TRANSITIONING COVER DESIGN
—
Using a lenticular foil, we’ve created a 3-in-1 cover. The cover displays three of the the many places and stories featured in the magazine. By tilting the magazine vertically, the sequence reveals itself to the viewer.
Page Trim Design
—
We created a surprising effect by adding bar-code edges to the spreads. By bending the magazine in both directions, the school’s motto as well as the publications annual theme is revealed.
Augmented Reality
—
For the section “Global”, we’ve created a digital experience to enhance the magazine content. A floating sphere can be pinned on the spread and explored from a 360° angle. By tapping on the data points the reader get’s presented with additional information about SPH’s activities around the world.
